FINGER EXERCISESThese exercises are good for warming up and dexterity. Take your time and slowly build up speed. Practice them often, and they will go a long way to making you a better player. They are all in 'tablature' form. Each line on the staff represents a string on your guitar. The bottom line is the low E string, the next string up is the A string and so on. The numbers represent the fret to be played. EXERCISE 1Spread your fingers evenly on the neck. Use your first finger on the 1st fret, second finger on the 2nd fret, third finger on the 3rd fret and fourth finger on the 4th fret.
EXERCISE 2A similar exercise, this time utilizing more of the neck. Remember to use all four fingers.
